You
can be safe in the knowledge that your batteries will go to
one of the most modern and efficient recycling plants in Europe.
Your batteries will be stored in our special containers, collected
and delivered to our recycling plant. The batteries are crushed,
allowing the casings to be separated leaving the lead ready
to be refined back to a very high purity (99.97%).
The acid is then neutralised and any plastics recycled and used
for non-food products.
Our recycling process is carried out in one of the safest environments
in Europe. Our premises are inspected regularly by the Environment
Agency.
