Access
to Erith from the M25, Central London (A2) or North &
East London (Woolwich Ferry, Blackwall Tunnel)

DIRECTIONS
From
the North and East (A1, M1, M11 etc)
Take the M25 eastbound towards the Dartford Crossing. Go over
the Dartford Bridge*, keeping to the left hand lane (try to
take a left side tollbooth). Take the first exit on your left
just past the tolls (junction 1A - signposted Erith A206). Take
a left towards the Holiday Inn Express at the next roundabout
and straight on at the traffic lights onto the A206 University
Way. Follow University Way across several roundabouts until
you reach the last roundabout where you can only go left or
right. Take the right into Thames Road towards Erith and straight
on at the traffic lights by the Jolly Farmers pub. Follow Thames
Road and bear left by the next traffic lights/roundabout. When
you reach the larger roundabout by the Ford garage go around
to the right and take the 4th exit onto Northend Road (dual
carriageway). Follow this across one roundabout until you reach
the main traffic lights. Turn right at the lights into James
Watt Way (McDonalds on your right) towards the superstore. At
the mini roundabout take the third exit into Manor Road. Vinton
Batteries is half a mile on your left. When reaching the gates
we are situated at the bottom of the premises on the left hand
side.

From the South and West (M20, M23, and M3 etc)
Take the M25 south/eastbound towards the Dartford Tunnel. Take
the left exit (junction 1A - signposted Erith/Swanscombe) just
before the tolls. Keep left and join the A206 University Way
at the traffic lights by the Holiday Inn Express. Follow University

From Central London
Take the A2 (signposted Dover) through New Cross, Deptford and
Blackheath and join the A2 carriageway at the 'sun in the sands'
roundabout. Follow this for several miles and leave the 'Black
Prince interchange' exit (signposted Crayford, Bexleyheath).
Take a left at the roundabout and travel up Gravel Hill (A220).
Keep going straight on past the hotel at the traffic lights
into Erith Road. Follow this across the lights and past the
mini roundabout by the fire station. Take a left at the next
mini roundabout uphill and keep going straight on into Bexley
Road (through Northumberland Heath shops). You will head downhill
until you reach a roundabout by Christchurch. Go right around
the roundabout onto Queens Road (dual carriageway) and take
the next left at the lights into James Watt Way (McDonalds on
your right) towards the superstore. At the mini roundabout take
the third exit into Manor Road. Vinton Batteries is half a mile
on your left. When reaching the gates we are situated at the
bottom of the premises on the left hand side. |
